The Construction Cash Flow Problem
Construction has the longest accounts receivable aging of any commercial sector. The average subcontractor waits 60–90 days for payment after completing work — and many wait 120 days or more when project disputes arise.
Meanwhile, the cash goes out every week: materials, equipment rental, labor. A concrete subcontractor might spend $150K in materials before seeing a single dollar from the GC. An electrical contractor carries weeks of payroll before their draw is approved.
Sound familiar? You're not alone — this is a structural industry problem.
Fix your cash flow now →How Construction Invoice Factoring Works
Invoice factoring is not a loan. You're selling your completed invoices at a small discount in exchange for immediate cash. No debt, no monthly payments, no collateral beyond the invoices themselves.

Run the numbers →CashBridge Rates for Construction
Transparent pricing. No hidden fees, no long-term contracts, no monthly minimums. Your rate is shown before you commit.
Your specific rate depends on: invoice volume, your customers' payment history, and invoice terms. Higher volume and creditworthy GCs = better rates. Diversification bonus applies when you factor invoices across 5+ customers.
Factoring fees accrue per 30-day period the invoice is outstanding. An invoice paid in 30 days costs you 1–2%. An invoice paid in 60 days costs 2–4%. No origination fee, no processing fee, no hidden charges.

Try the Advance Calculator →Which Construction Companies Qualify?
Approval is based on your customers' creditworthiness, not yours. If you're invoicing established GCs, real estate developers, municipalities, or large property owners — you likely qualify even if your own credit is limited.
Invoices must be for completed work. Progress billing or mobilization invoices for future work do not qualify. Disputed invoices or mechanic's lien situations require case-by-case review.

How does construction invoice factoring work?
You submit your completed construction invoices to CashBridge. We advance you 80–92% of the invoice value within 24 hours. When your GC or project owner pays the invoice on their terms (30, 60, or 90 days), we remit the remaining balance minus our factoring fee. No loan, no monthly payments, no debt on your balance sheet.
Will my GC know I'm using factoring?
With disclosed factoring, your GC receives a Notice of Assignment and pays CashBridge directly — this is standard practice and most large GCs handle it routinely. With confidential factoring, payments route through a dedicated account that appears to be yours. CashBridge helps you choose the right structure for your customer relationships.
What types of construction invoices qualify?
Invoices for completed and delivered work billed to creditworthy business customers — general contractors, developers, municipalities, or government entities. This includes subcontractor invoices, specialty trade invoices, and general contracting draw requests. Progress billing for future work, mobilization-only invoices, and actively disputed invoices do not qualify.
My construction company has bad credit. Can I still qualify?
Yes. Factoring approval is based on your customers' creditworthiness, not yours. If you're billing established GCs or government entities with strong payment history, your own credit score is not the deciding factor. This makes factoring accessible to newer contractors, businesses recovering from hard years, and those with thin credit files.
How fast can I get funded?
Most construction clients are funded within 24 hours of submitting approved invoices. Same-day ACH is common for invoices under $500K with creditworthy customers. Initial onboarding (verification, bank account setup) takes 1–2 business days — then ongoing funding is next-day.
Are there long-term contracts or minimums?
No. CashBridge has no long-term contracts and no monthly minimums. Factor invoices when you need cash — skip months when you don't. You control the facility.
